The Journal of Applied Engineering Science and Technology (JAEST) is pleased to announce its collaboration with the 1st National Seminar on Materials, Structures and Sustainable Development (SNMSDD’26), organized by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, El-Wancharissi University of Tissemsilt, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Structures (LIMMaS).
The seminar will take place on 21 October 2026 at the University of Tissemsilt, Algeria, bringing together researchers, academics, engineers, and professionals to exchange recent advances in materials, structural engineering, and sustainable development.

We are delighted to announce that selected high-quality papers presented at SNMSDD’26 will be invited for consideration for publication in a dedicated Special Issue of JAEST.
Invited authors will be required to submit an original, full-length manuscript in English that meets JAEST's author guidelines. All submissions will undergo editorial screening and independent peer review in accordance with the journal's policies. Selection at the conference or an invitation to submit does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Submission procedures and deadlines for the Special Issue will be communicated to eligible authors by the conference organizers and JAEST editorial team.
JAEST is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the University of Biskra, Algeria. No article processing or submission charges apply.
