1- General Guidelines
As a reviewer, your role is critical in ensuring the quality and integrity of published research. Here are key guidelines to help you navigate the review process:
Timely Evaluation
Provide a detailed, constructive, and unbiased evaluation within the assigned period. Notify the editor promptly if you need an extension.
Confidentiality
Treat the manuscript and any associated data as confidential. Do not distribute or discuss any information regarding the submitted manuscript before publication.
Conflict of Interest
Report any conflict of interest to the editor and decline the review if a conflict exists.
Originality and Scientific Accuracy
Assess the manuscript for originality, scientific accuracy, and relevance to the field. Identify any instances of plagiarism or research misconduct and report them to the editor.
Constructive Feedback
Provide specific, actionable suggestions for improving the manuscript. Highlight strengths as well as areas that need improvement.
2- How to Submit Your Review
To submit your review, please follow these steps on the ASJP platform:
Log In
Access the ASJP platform and log in with your credentials.
Access the Manuscript
Navigate to the “Reviewer” section and find the manuscript assigned to you.
Review Form
Complete the review form provided on the platform. Ensure that your comments are clear and well-organized.
Recommendation
Select your recommendation for the manuscript: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
Submit
Submit your completed review and recommendation through the ASJP platform.
3- Evaluating Manuscript Components
Title and Abstract
Is the title clear and informative? Does the abstract summarize the key points effectively?
Introduction
Does the introduction provide sufficient background and clearly state the research question or hypothesis?
Methodology
Is the methodology appropriate and adequately described? Are the techniques and tools used suitable for the research question?
Results
Are the results clearly presented and supported by the data? Are the figures and tables appropriate and well-constructed?
Discussion and Conclusion
Does the discussion interpret the results appropriately? Are the conclusions supported by the findings?
References
Are the references relevant and up-to-date? Check for any missing citations that are crucial for the context of the study.
