Panic in Literature: The Pandemic and its Representations in Serge Braun's Babel Syndrome
Keywords:
Pandemic, Mythocriticism, Onomastic, Socio-historyAbstract
Addressing the pandemic and its representations, our work is part of the perspective of a socio-historical, mythocritical and onomastic analysis. Our body of research is the Babel Syndrome of the French writer Serge Braun through which we try to demonstrate the manifestation of the dual status of the pandemic. By deciphering the etymology and the mythical use of the writer, we will dissect the narrative progression of the pandemic. Our study is also accompanied by the intervention of the writer whom we took the initiative to contact.
