This inaugural "varia" issue celebrates the plurality of knowledge by rejecting thematic silos. Drawing from the etymology of varia and Edgar Morin’s concept of "reliance," this foreword defines knowledge as a living, shifting network. Through eight contributions spanning literature, the imaginary, didactics, and artificial intelligence, the volume illustrates the convergence of disciplines.
